Freedom Summit, America’s largest community-based anti-human trafficking event is happening on May 9th, 2015 at Levi’s Stadium – the new home of the San Francisco 49ers. The event will feature prominent local and national trafficking experts, survivors, Congressional delegates, athletes and musicians.
“While human trafficking is a 365 day, 24/7 problem, the Bay Area hosting Super Bowl 2016 is the call to action needed for everyone to get in the game to say this won’t happen here,” states the Bay Area Against Human Trafficking.
BAAHT has be a forerunners for California in collaborative, multi-agency response to human trafficking and the Freedom Summit has provided a wealth of information, based on experience on addressing human trafficking. The Freedom Summit is a biennial conference that serves as a catalytic event to bring San Francisco Bay Area abolitionists, communities and organizations together around the issue of Human Trafficking.
Freedom Summit speakers include Polaris Project founder Brad Myles, Co-Chair Freedom Summit & Exec Dir BAATC Betty Ann Boeving, Made In a Free World founder Justin Dillon, and other experts and service providers, plus performaces by Jars Of Clay.
